cards 61-74

These cards are all I've been making lately. They have a main image, background stamping and inking and some layering. Though you can't see it in the photo, there is a layer of gloss over parts of each card.

Card 61:

Card 62:  I am still deciding if I want to add a sentiment over that white somewhere? The three flowers have big gemstones on them.

Cards 63 and 64: Both of the same design and colour, the only differences are bird size, which parts of the card have glossy accents and that one has wording while the other doesnt. I have a preference for the first one of the two, how about you?

Card 65: This is the second of two cards I made with this flower stamp. I stamped it in black, went over it in glossy accents and waited for it to dry, then sponged around the sides. I love this stamp (I dont own it) so it will be on my 'must buy' list! I think this stamp makes the image powerful enough that the card doesnt need a whole heap more added to it? Remembering that the flower actually shines.

Card 66: Again, this card is the same genre...everyone seems to love this card and I am not sure why. It appealed to everyone I showed and a few even went out to purchase the ink (stampin' up! Always Artichoke) and paper. The only problem was the background ink blurred when I added glossy accents over the top of the tractor, but overall I think it is a nice simple card.

Card 67: I loved this card too. At first I thought the edges were too dark but once I layered onto white, cherry cobbler and then onto black, it looked beautiful...and of all the cards, i think the chandelier suits the glossy accents the most. I have none of these stamps but this one is another I'd consider buying because it is so pretty!

Cards 68 and 69: These two were me playing around after taking a card class. I am not sure I love these cards but they are certainly good enough to use or give away!

Card 70: This card was the first of the flower cards I made. I have one more stamped flower, waiting to be coloured, any suggestions? I am kinda tempted to do an orange flower next lol. I gave this card to my mother-in-law for mothers day this year.

Card 71: This one had to be kept hidden for a wee while, I made it at the beginning of May for my fox-crazy friend's birthday lol. The message is written on the back of the card. I must admit, mixed in with a different genre of cards, it stands out a bit lol.

Card 72, 73 and 74 are all cards I made at a Kaszazz class with our friendly consultant Janene. She is the reason I've been toying with this genre of card. I bought this top 'postal love' stamp and will be picking it up on Wednesday.
