MIL's 2010 birthday card. I very heavily copied this card but I deleted the link the day before I posted this so I cant link back to it. Apologies card designer!

This card is chocolate brown and rich baby blue, the colours arent captured well in the photo.

This is just to remind myself my card count for the year is 83 at the moment...and I owe you some photos!

I got this simple stamp a week and a half ago but had no time to make a card. I wanted this stamp so I could make quick cards to throw in the mail to someone. All those pinks are an exact match, it's just the flash distorting them. Second card (excuse the photo) is the same but a different coloured brad on the /i/.

After BEGGING Bianca to take home all the baby cards I had in my drawer (that I hated), I decided to make some more after she went home. I am much happier with these, even though they are quite basic. I took them without the flash so they're a little dark but you get the idea.

Well I am pleased to announce that after an evening of card making, I disliked ALL the cards I made! Card 7 is the one I dislike the least. I should qualify this by saying the 'Happy Hellos' cards are for sending in with postcards so they can't contain anything that might damage them so they have to be quite plain. Perhaps somewhere out there, there is someone who likes one of these!

sympathy cards

Hi, these are some sympathy cards I've made to have on hand. I made these at my friend Sheryl's house because it is much nicer having her to chat to while making depressing cards!

This first card got left at Sheryl's because she had a need for it but with a new born, didnt have time to make one. Inside is stamped 'sharing in your sorrow'.


I made four of these last night. Two have no message inside so can be used for occasions other than death. The other two have sympathy stamps inside. This is also the card I made for the toddler's parents so I've made five of this card this week.

Originally this one was meant to be like the one above but I stamped the paper the wrong direction so it didnt happen!

Really annoyed by flash photography skewing the colours...they're pretty and match and you'll just have to take my word for it lol.

Cards of the last week

As of today, I've made 45 cards this year.

These first four were just quick notecard type cards. They are not intended for birthday cards as I didnt put that much effort into them.

I needed two baby girl cards for impending births so set that as my goal last night and came up with the two following cards. The ribbon on the edge is for me to tie the cards closed with a bow once they're written on.

Then I decided I might as well do a few more masculine baby cards since I had time left over and the design fresh in my head.

These were the disasterous cards I made last week when I went to Sheryl's and didnt take enough supplies with me. They are 'ok' but I feel like they need something else (especially the last card).

I actually made 16 other cards tonight, baby thank you cards for my friend Sheryl (we did it together) but if I ignore that, this is my 33rd card of the year. The brads were meant to be brown and match the brown cardboard but I didnt have any. *adds them to her order*
