These two cards are much cuter than the photograph shows...

I dont much like this congrats stamp that came in a set of other stamps I DO like but I figured I might as well try them out.

This card is for little Leo, my friend Melanie's son who was born on Friday. I actually cut down the original card and remade it using the pitter patter part coz I didnt like it first time round.


These stamps made me giggle when I saw them in the shop. You could certainly only give them to someone with a sense of humour!

Shery's birthday card

I made this card today for my friend Sheryl's birthday (today lol). I used a biiig background stamp on it, if you enlarge it you'll see a sort of faded page of a book about making crafts from daffodils lol. Then I stamped and heat embossed the butterfly and hand coloured it in with watercolour crayons and a wet brush. Stuck that to the card, added mesh and added some square brads for effect (and to hold the mesh down more).

Just making something out of half made cards laying around. Did this textured sparkly paper come from Sharain, I cant remember anymore but I also cant see it for sale anywhere.

I need to make a whole heap of thank you notecards for RSPCA sponsorship over the weekend...someone remind me.

What have I done with the other card with the identical base to this one!?

This metallic ink never photographs well!
